Prices are climbing but many items in Retravision’s fire sale are still priced at $9, with the first lot of cooking and kitchen appliances going on sale this afternoon.
The sale on clearance website GraysOnline was announced earlier this week, following the appointment of administrators to three collapsed Retravision Southern stores in Victoria – Retravision Mildura, O’Connells Retravision in Narre Warren and Chirnside Park Retravision.
The cooking appliances are the first to go on sale, with “Gadgets & IT”, “Home Appliances” and “Home Theatre & Entertainment Accessories” categories set to go online later in the day.
The products on offer among the cooking appliances include an Arda 600-millimetre Gas Cooktop, an Electrolux 60-centimetre Ceramic Cooktop, a Qasair Universal Rangehood and a Fisher & Paykel 75-centimetre Induction Cooktop.
At the time of writing these appliances are still available at the unfathomably low $9 starting price, apart from the F&P Induction Cooktop which is the second most expensive item on the page at $39.

Due to their size, the cooking appliances are only available for pick-up from the GraysOnline warehouse in Cheltenham, Victoria. However, the site confirmed that Australia-wide delivery would be available on some items – presumably on the smaller products such as those expected to appear in the gadget category.
At the time of going to press with this story (about one and a half hours after the sale began) the 14 items on the sales page had a total of 31 bids on them.
The sale is due to end on Sunday 5 August at 8.35pm AEST.
