Mitsubishi Electric Australia has presented its annual Diamond Dealer Awards, bringing together more than 400 guests for a four-day event at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort on Denarau Island.
The awards weekend, now in its third decade, recognises the company’s top-performing air conditioning dealers from across Australia. Attendees enjoyed a combination of business-focused sessions and leisure activities, including a day trip to Malamala Beach and opportunities to reconnect with peers.
The highlight of the event was the 2025 Diamond Dealer Awards Dinner, held beachside under clear Fijian skies. The evening was hosted by Adam Spencer, the Australian mathematician, comedian, and media personality, who also delivered a keynote address during the conference segment.
One of the most anticipated moments of the night was the presentation of the General Manager Achievements Awards, which celebrate outstanding performance across Mitsubishi Electric’s air conditioning product lines.
This year’s recipients were Dan Bradford of Elements Air & Refrigeration for the RAC category, Fabian Muscat of Elite Heating & Cooling for City Multi, and Andrew Hume of Auscool Air Conditioning & Mechanical Services for the Mr Slim/Com-Pac category.
The weekend also featured a half-day business conference with keynote sessions.
Spencer spoke about the potential of artificial intelligence to transform HVAC businesses, while Craig Tuckerman, Mitsubishi Electric Australia’s HR Manager, addressed strategies for attracting and retaining top-tier talent amid workforce challenges.
“It is our pleasure to host top-performing Mitsubishi Electric dealers, and it presents a great opportunity to acknowledge their hard work over the past year,” Zane Barron, Executive Director and General Manager of LEG National Sales, said.
“We have an amazing and loyal dealer network, and they continue to play an important role in the success of Mitsubishi Electric Australia.”
