MELBOURNE, VIC: Ilve was all smiles today, with the Italian brand winning the gong for Best Stand at DesignEx 2011. Marketing manager Daniel Bertuccio said you only needed to look at what they had constructed to see why Ilve had received such an acknowledgment.
The hexagonal stand is walled to the ceiling with a purple barricade, while inside ovens, cooking stations and rangehoods wall the interior. The centrepiece is a fully functional kitchen, in which training coordinator and home economist Neecia Pinkster cooks up gourmet dishes for delegates and visitors.
