SYDNEY, NSW: Samsung has today announced the release of a new washer and dryer combination machine, utilising the manufacturer’s ‘Bubble Wash’ technology.

The 7.5-kilogram washer and 4-kilogram dryer combination joins Samsung’s Bubble Wash Washing Machine range which was launched late last year with a 7.5-kilogram and 8.5-kilogram model.

Speaking about the new machine was head of home appliances at Samsung Electronics Australia Chris Farrar.

“Following the success of the Bubble Wash washing machine, we are excited to expand this innovative Samsung technology into the washer and dryer category,” Farrar said. “This new washer and dryer combination is designed to make the laundry experience as simple and effective as possible.”

The machine features a diamond drum design with special water exit holes that collect more water than a conventional machine, offering a better wash. It also boasts a digital inverter motor for a quieter and more balanced drum spin, and a ceramic heating element.

In addition, the combination machine features Samsung’s Bubble Wash technology, which “generates bubbles by dissolving detergent with air and water before the normal cycle begins, to help with penetration of detergent into the fabric for a gentle wash”.

At 48-centimetres, the door creates an opening that is 20 per cent larger than conventional Samsung washing machines. The machine also features a Quick Wash setting and a child lock.

The Samsung Bubble Wash washing machine and dryer combination (7.5/4kg combo – WD0754W8E model) is available for RRP $1,799.
