SYDNEY, NSW: Logitech has today announced the release of a new Wireless Touch Keyboard for computer and laptop use, as well as two new iPad- and Android tablet-compatible devices.

The Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 features a range of 33 feet (10 metres), and can be used to remotely control a computer or a laptop-connected TV for watching media content on a larger screen.

The K400 also features a built-in 3.5-inch touchpad that makes horizontal and vertical scrolling on a webpage easy, without the need for a mouse. Wireless connection is made by plugging the keyboard’s receiver into the computer’s USB port, and the device boasts battery life of up to one year.

“With our new Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400, people can connect their laptops to the TV, turn up the volume of a YouTube video, pause their vacation slideshows or tweet about the movie they just downloaded, all from one sleek controller,” said Logitech Australia general manager, Annabelle Woods.

“Whether surfing the Web or emailing a friend, navigating and typing is just plain easy with the whisper-quiet, low-profile keys.”

The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 is available at Bing Lee, Dick Smith, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Myer and Officeworks for RRP $79.95.
