Leading gaming peripherals provider, Logitech G has partnered with Sony Pictures to coincide with the launch of the Gran Turismo movie.

Recognising the connection between the movie’s narrative and gaming enthusiasts, Logitech G is launching an integrated marketing campaign to engage with gamers. Partnering with cinematic heavyweight, Val Morgan, Logitech G is bringing cinema advertising experiences before Grand Turismo screenings to the east coast of Australia and New Zealand.

As passionate gamers and motorsports enthusiasts, we couldn’t be more thrilled to steer this high-speed collaboration, bringing cutting-edge technology and immersive experiences to the drivers’ seat of cinema,” Logitech G Australia and New Zealand senior category portfolio manager, Daniel Hall said.

Accompanying the large-scale activation, Logitech G is hosting a competition with two lucky winners taking home $6,000 worth of Logitech G and Sony gear. The Ultimate Racing Sim Rig competition is running until 25 September 2023. 

Participants can enter the contest by submitting an entry through a dedicated landing page. To increase entrant’s chances, Logitech has implemented a redemption strategy, offering 10 bonus entries by purchasing select Logitech G racing wheels during the campaign period, with additional rewards for uploading proof of purchase of Gran Turismo The Movie tickets.

Leading Logitech stockists such as Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Gamesmen and EB Games are on board for the activation, offering sales on virtual racing simulator, Logitech G923 TrueForce Racing wheel during the campaign.

Logitech G has also forged paid media partnerships with Fandom, the world’s largest entertainment and gaming fan platform and Inverse, a platform that explores the cultural impact of gaming from a scientific perspective.

To further campaign reach, Logitech G’s social accounts will serve as the hub for amplifying assets from the Ultimate Racing Sim Rig competition, directing participants to the competition landing page.
