American loudspeaker brand Klipsch has signed a 'strategic partnership' with proper rock band and former Hottest 100 winner Kings of Leon.
"We really wanted a partner that we respect and values the same principles at the heart of our brand," said Klipsch CEO Paul Jacobs. "Like Klipsch, Kings of Leon is authentic, uncompromising on quality, and always remain true to their core values. The band is known for their incredible live shows and creating unforgettable concert experiences for their fans.
"Recreating that same experience and emotion is what we strive for in our speakers and headphones -making this the right partnership, at the right time."
Klipsch will sponsor Kings of Leon's 2014 tour of North America in support of its new album Mechanical Bull. It is unknown if Klipsch will release Kings of Leon-branded products.
"We're excited about this new partnership with Klipsch," said Kings of Leon CEO Nathan Followill (he's the drummer). "We work really hard on making our records and live shows sound great. That's really important to us. Partnering with Klipsch for the tour made a lot of sense."
