LG Electronics Australia (LG) has unveiled its latest side-by-side refrigerator range with convenience, hygiene, and style at the forefront.
There are 12 models in the range priced from $2,039 for the entry model to $3,239 for the flagship variant, available in retail stores now.
LG research, A window into the Australian kitchen, has found that almost half of Australians (47%) are spending more on groceries and over one-third (37%) are eating out less than they were pre-Covid.
To celebrate the launch of range, LG partnered with meal kit provider, Marley Spoon, TV host and healthy cook, Luke Hines, and renowned mixologist, Kurtis Bosley to explore Australian’s behaviours and attitudes towards food.
The panel discussed the changes in the way consumers buy groceries, what they cook, how they are spending their time in the kitchen and entertaining at home.
LG Australia marketing manager for home appliances, Shannon Tweedie said, “The past 18 months has undoubtedly changed our relationship with food as a nation. This time last year, we explored how the onset of the pandemic saw us reconnecting with our homes. One year on, we’re offering another glimpse into the Australian kitchen, uncovering how we are now living our lives in the new normal.”

Our new side-by-side fridge range supports these lifestyle shifts, offering a combination of features that support these changes in meal preparation, food freshness and home entertaining.”
Select models in the LG side-by-side refrigerator line-up offer a series of features including the UVnano water dispensers, Pure N Fresh air filtration system and Craft Ice Maker.
Utilising the power of ultraviolet light, the built-in UV LED light in the water dispenser automatically sanitises the water nozzle for 10 minutes every hour, reducing up to 99.99% of bacteria. For additional peace of mind, the UVnano feature can be activated at any time with the quick press of a button for fresh filtered water from a sanitised dispenser.
The LG Craft Ice Maker automatically produces slow-melting round ice, ideal for cocktails and specialty drinks. It creates three approximately 50mm (two-inch) ice balls every 22 hours and stores up to 30 Craft Ice balls at any one time.
The LG side-by-side fridge range welcomes the return of the LG InstaView Door-in-Door feature on select models. With two quick knocks, the LG InstaView feature illuminates the glass panel to view the contents inside, while the Door-in-Door compartment allows users to access frequently used items without needing to open the main fridge cavity.
Working in tandem with the Surround Cooling feature that combines traditional rear air vents with the Door Cooling feature to circulate cool air from multiple directions, temperature fluctuations are reduced to help keep food fresher for longer.
Available in three finishes, Matte Black, Stainless Silver and White with the option of plumbed and non-plumbed models, the latest LG side-by-side refrigerator range is now available from leading retailers and online at LG.com/au.
