LG’s newest soundbar the LG GX has been designed to integrate with LG OLED TVs. It offers consumers greater design flexibility as it can be mounted either flush to the wall directly under the TV or supported using the included steel stand. The soundbar is identical in width and finish to the LG 65-inch GX Gallery series TV.

LG marketing manager for home entertainment, Tony Brown, said there has been a great uptake locally for the LG GX Gallery OLED TVs, especially amongst consumers looking for a more minimalistic home entertainment set-up. “The addition of the LG GX soundbar can add even more elevation to the viewing experience while still supporting minimalistic requirements,” he said. “We are in discussion with our local retail partners and hope to bring this latest innovation to our range soon.”

The GX soundbar delivers 3D sound thanks to Dolby Atmos and DTX:S along with upgraded user convenience and easy connectivity options including enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and Bluetooth.

The soundbar is Hi-Res Audio certified, offering lossless playback at 24bit/96kHz with greater vibrancy and nuance. It produces detailed, natural sound when playing high-resolution audio files, or when up-converting conventional audio formats. The built-in LG AI Sound Pro feature analyses and automatically applies the best sound settings regardless of content, ensuring maximum listening enjoyment every time.
