LG Electronics has joined forces with Famobi, a German HTML game development studio, to introduce the first games playable with the LG Magic Remote, a collaboration designed to enhance the gaming experience by providing greater ease and enjoyment.
LG smart TV users can now play ‘Cut the Rope,’ a mind-bending puzzle game by using an LG Magic Remote without the need for extra gaming controllers. LG recently added the popular mobile game ‘Thief Puzzle’ to its smart TVs, for users to enjoy various puzzle jigsaw challenges customised for the LG Magic Remote.
Through numerous partnerships, LG is introducing new titles to its webOS platform, that it said demonstrates its commitment to delivering big-screen entertainment with a steadily growing collection of 600 casual game titles.
LG has also expanded its games offerings from Play.Works, the largest connected TV games catalogue in the world, and teamed up with Simulmedia to introduce PlayerWON, an in-game advertising solution that seamlessly integrates high-quality, non-intrusive ads into gameplay.
