Leading Edge Group (LEG) hosted its annual conference at the Pullman Hotel Albert Park in Melbourne from 6 to 8 May 2023, welcoming 110 members and 100 suppliers – an increase in attendee numbers compared to 2022.

“The conference kicked off with a day of retail masterclasses, where members enrolled to get a refresh of the A to Z of great retailing from our member benefit partner, Retail Life. The masterclass was oversubscribed and attended by over 50 members,” LEG general manager of retail, Charlie Davey told Appliance Retailer.

“This was followed by two days of speakers and an engaging trade expo with 60 booths, offering the best from our suppliers and benefit partners. Attendees were also able to let their hair down in the evening with our first night filled with ‘Grooves and Moves’ at the 80s theme night, supported by Australia’s leading cover band, Stand and Deliver, and on the second evening, we hosted our Gala Awards Dinner.”
