Amazon Australia has confirmed its new Kindle Scribe is now available for purchase, following its announcement of a refreshed line-up of Kindle products.
Designed as the ideal companion for the modern-day professional or student, the Kindle Scribe combines the benefits of Kindle with a notetaking device. Users can journal, create meeting notes and to-do lists and convert handwritten notes to text and email them.
Kindle Scribe has a smooth paper-like texture that makes writing feel like a breeze. The Active Canvas feature automatically creates space for any annotations made, shifting the on-screen text to accommodate any thoughts that are noted down.
The 10.2-inch glare-free, 300ppi front-lit display with adjustable warm light and dark mode is designed for reading and writing anytime, anywhere.
The included Premium Pen requires no set-up or charging to use. From the stylus toolbar, users can choose between pen, fountain pen, marker, or pencil, or different stroke widths.
Users can annotate documents and PDFs imported via Send-to-Kindle or directly via Microsoft Word (Microsoft 365 subscription required) and share them. Equally, users can also convert Notebooks to text and share via email.
The new Kindle Scribe in Tungsten and Metallic Jade colours (exclusive to Amazon) is available from $649. Newly designed folios to protect the Kindle Scribe are also available on Amazon.com.au in Black ad Dark Emerald for $119.
