Sharp’s international sponsorship of Euro2012 is ramping up at the moment, with TV commercials currently airing in Australia and the development of Fan Labs throughout Europe.

The former Manchester United major sponsor is clearly relishing its return to high concept sports marketing, with the introduction of scientific experiments to determine which country’s fans are the most passionate.

Locally, Sharp Corporation of Australia will be pleased to see that the most popular teams in Australia — England, Republic of Ireland, Greece, Italy and Croatia — have all secured spots at the tournament, which will be shown live on Setanta and SBS from 8 June 2012.
