The 2014 Winter Olympics is now only 11 months away. Although not as popular in Australia as the Summer Olympics, the frostier iteration of sport’s pinnacle will still generate significant interest locally when the first snowball is thrown in anger in Sochi, Russia, on 7 February 2014.

Australia is the most successful Southern Hemisphere country at the Winter Olympics and the only nation south of the Equator to have won a Gold Medal.

Now in its 25th straight year as an Olympic sponsor, Panasonic will once again be furnishing the Winter Olympics with products has part of its global partnership.

In previous years, Panasonic Australia has strongly leveraged its Olympic involvement with above the line marketing, though this was cut back significantly for the 2012 London Olympics.
