Jura had everyone wanting coffee to themselves at this year’s GF&WS in Sydney, as one of the only major appliance brands at the Show. Following a huge investment last year, DeLonghi and Nespresso did not make an appearance for 2015. Jura made more than 6,000 coffees over the three-day event, according to head of sales, George Liakatos.

“The crowds were non-stop over the three days. We made 3,000 coffees on Saturday alone.”

In comparison, the Jura team made around 5,000 coffees for Melbourne GF&WS attendees over four days.

“We received fantastic feedback from visitors with some wanting to attend a second Masterclass because they loved the ease of use and quality of coffee produced by our ENA Micro 9 machine,” Liakatos told Appliance Retailer.

“It was an ideal platform to grow brand awareness as we were still so surprised at the amount of people who had not heard of Jura. In saying this, the Sydney crowd had such a great vibe and were keen to engage with us on social media, and we were pleased with the outcome of the Show.”
