De Dietrich has this morning launched a new 90-centimetre downdraft rangehood and a 45-centimetre combi-steam oven.

According to brand manager Belinda Toner, this new rangehood can recirculate air and does not need to be fitted to an external wall. She said this was “unlike others in the market”, and is ideal for island benches. This new rangehood (DHD7000X) is RRP $6,499.

The new combi-steam oven has a pyrolytic cleaning function, which is somewhat rare for steam ovens in general, and so rare locally that De Dietrich claims an Australian first. Before cleaning the oven by carbonising all the contents at high heat, chefs can make a mess with 15 recipe options and 11 automatic cooking programs.

There are soft touch electronic controls, a rotisserie, a four-panel door and a 36-litre capacity. The combi-steam oven (DOS1045X) is RRP $3,999.

“De Dietrich has been an industry leader in kitchen appliance design and innovation for over 300 years,” said Toner. “We are thrilled to be launching a range of appliances that combines beautiful aesthetics with market-leading functions to Australian consumers.”

“The features included in the new range of De Dietrich appliances are unique to the Australian market and continue a long-standing tradition of innovation in the kitchen, while delivering an ultimate cooking experience to consumers and retailers.”

De Dietrich is distributed in Australia by Hagemeyer Appliances.
