Intel Australia and New Zealand has a new channel marketing manager: Kathryn Hudson is starting immediately in the role and will report to national marketing manager Danielle Watts.

“In this role, Kathryn will be responsible for channel marketing across Australia and New Zealand. Her focus will be driving initiatives that cater to Intel’s 3,900 channel partners and over 800 Intel technology providers , targeting small format resellers, system builders, and the broader SMB market.

“Kathryn brings a strong understanding of the enthusiast and gaming market to the role and has experience in the channel world leading integrated marketing campaigns for resellers,” said Watts.

Hudson joins Intel after seven years at Dell, where she was most recently the Asia Pacific and Japan marketing manager for gaming.

“There is so much creativity in the DIY, NUC (next unit of computing) and enthusiast areas, particularly as the maker movement is gaining momentum,” Hudson said. “It’s a very exciting time to be part of Intel.”

According to the release announcing this appointment, Hudson has a Bachelor of Business, Marketing, Advertising and Promotions Management from the University of Technology Sydney.
