Instant Brands, home to category-leading and well-respected brands such as Pyrex and Corelle, is releasing three new benchtop appliances under the Instant brand.

Led by the Instant Pot Duo Crisp with Ultimate Lid Multi-Cooker and Air Fryer 6.5L for RRP $449 (pictured above), which offers 13-in-1 functionality to pressure cook, air fry, sauté, steam, slow cook, sous vide, roast, grill, bake, dehydrate, yogurt, proof and keep warm. It comes with one single lid for both pressure cooking and air frying without needing to switch lids.

Its large display offers step-by-step cooking instructions and notifications including ‘Ok to open lid’, while its advanced whisper quiet steam release technology plus steam release button on the control panel to access natural, pulse or quick release options. A large capacity stainless steel inner pot serves up to six servings.

The Instant Vortex Plus ClearCook Dual Air Fryer 8L for RRP $429 can air fry, roast, bake, reheat, grill and dehydrate in one appliance. The innovative ClearCook windows and internal lights help easily monitor the cooking progress without opening the basket and disrupting the cooking cycle.

The SyncCook program automatically cooks in both baskets at the same time, mirroring the same program and settings for both, while the SyncFinish program automatically finishes cooking at the same type under different programs and settings in each basket. EvenCrisp air flow technology creates crunch and tenderness of deep frying with 95% less oil for healthier alternatives to deep fried food.

The Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 Multi-Cooker, available in 8L capacity for RRP $389 and a 5.7L capacity for RRP $349, can be used as an electric pressure cooker, slow cooker, sous vide, sauté pan, rice/grain cooker, steriliser, cake baker, steamer, yogurt maker and food warmer.

With 28 customisable programs, users can enjoy one-touch cooking for a selection of essential meals, with the ability to save the function, time and temperature to one of five favourites buttons for quick access. The premium stainless steel inner pot features easy grip silicone handles for lifting and carrying, and locking the pot in place when sauteing. It is suitable on all cooktops, including induction, and is oven safe to 232°C.

The upgraded gentle steam release switch makes releasing steam simple, and automatically seals when the lid is closed. A steam release cover helps reduce noise and prevent countertop splash, while the large LCD display features a cooking progress bar that shows every step, from pre-heating and cooking to keep warm.

“Consumers are now not only looking for innovative, multi-functional products that can cook healthy meals from brands they trust, but increasingly as important, those appliances are energy efficient and can help reduce household energy bills,” Instant Brands director of marketing for Australia and New Zealand, Dean Grice said.

“The Instant Pot offers incredible versatility that enables consumers to use the appliance throughout all seasons of the year. Gone are the days of using only the pressure cook or slow cook functions for a hearty winter meal. Consumers can now bake desserts, make homemade yogurt or sous vide a steak with sauteed vegetables on the side – all in one single appliance.

“Product safety is also an important topic as consumers want to be reassured that their appliance is of high quality and is safe and durable. Built-in features such as automatic shut off and lid locking mechanisms are standard across the Instant range, but we have also improved the steam releases on our Instant Pots to improve the customer experience when operating our appliances.”
