Samsung has built an appliance concept store inside Bing Lee Rhodes.
Samsung chose the Bing Lee store in Rhodes, 15 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD, as the first store to feature the new display. According to Samsung’s director of home appliances, the location was chosen for its “great foot traffic”.
The display inside Bing Lee takes up a large section of the whitegoods area at the rear of the store, covering more than 90 square metres. The display is fitted out with fully functioning appliances and also includes areas to sit with sales staff and learn more about the appliances thanks to information provided on display tablets.
Customers can even have a cup of Nespresso coffee, poured into their own Samsung cup.

Each washing machine is backed by a fish tank filled with fake fish. When the machine is turned on, water drains from the tank to fill the machine for the demo cycle, before filtering back into the tank when the machine drains.
Tablets such as this one are scattered throughout the stand, allowing consumers to scroll through features and specs for products to refine the decision making process.
Large capacity French door refrigerators are a stand out on the display, as well as smaller appliances such as microwaves.
Floorcare products are accompanied by display screens showing the products in action. The Navibots on the top level to the right of the picture are also programmed to run around their own flooring enclosure.
