SYDNEY, NSW: Vodafone has today revealed the pricing for the new Nexus S smartphone, which is a collaboration between Samsung and Google. Running off the new Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), this device is expected to be one of the most exciting mobile phone releases of 2011.

The Nexus S is available in black and white and on either a 12-month or 24-month contract. Current Vodafone customers will be able to upgrade on 9 March 2011, with the smartphone generally available on 16 March 2011.

There is no option for consumers to buy this phone outright at launch, though Vodafone has announced a remarkable 23 different plan options for consumers.
