Vestel presented a prototype oven which claims to be the first oven with an integrated smoker.
Cooks simply place wood chips into the ‘smoke tech’ compartment next to the touch display to inject smoke into the cavity and flavour various dishes during the cooking process.
“All of the Australian buyers are interested in this product. At this stage, it is a prototype, but if companies in Australia, UK and US are interested in this product, we will examine the requests and put this product into production,” Vestel sales manager for Australia and New Zealand, İsmail Cakir (pictured right with the Smoke Tech oven) told Appliance Retailer.
“We also received a strong response from the Sous Vide oven, as well as the Heat Wrap that provides the possibility to cook evenly on five different levels simultaneously.”
