Newly appointed director of marketing, Paul Jowett commented, “Huawei is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with technology, and sets the benchmark for smartphone innovation. I am thrilled to join the Australian team and look forward to delivering exciting campaigns for the business.”

The announcement follows the recent appointment of Ebany Draper as PR manager – consumer, lifestyle and events at Huawei. She joined from Destination NSW, where she worked on Vivid Sydney. Prior to that, Ebany’s background was predominantly within the media industry. Draper joins head of consumer PR, Candice Lester, who commenced her role in January this year.
