After a successful weekend at the Melbourne Home Show for the 25th year, Hans Vanderstadt from Camberwell Electrics is ready to engage with visitors who will be coming to his door to find out more about the products that were on display, or who are ready to buy, after just browsing at the Show. The retailer partnered with several brands including premium Swiss appliance market leader V-Zug, German brand Liebbher, Jura, and Daikin, among others.

Vanderstadt told Appliance Retailer that the Show offers “good exposure” to suppliers and the products on display compliment his one-stop solution retail structure.

“Being involved in the HIA Show in April and the Home Show in August, we are able to reach people in the building sector, as well as consumers, who participate in DIY renovations, and both Shows prove to be excellent platforms, time and time again,” Vanderstadt said.

“I would say visitor numbers and interest were improved this time around compared to previous years. The popularity of cooking and baking shows has inspired consumers to spend more time in the kitchen and upgrade their appliances so they are of the best quality.

“Our store will now focus on cooking demonstrations and events to engage with customers and really push our sales in the lead up to the all-important Christmas period,” he commented.
