SYDNEY, NSW: Designed focused kitchen appliance brand Gaggenau is for the first time offering a glass fascia backed by stainless steel, as opposed to aluminium, on its 200 Series oven range. This new choice for consumers applies to six appliances in the range.

According to Gaggenau, the aluminium option has been very popular in Australia, with the German brand, which is distributed by Sampford IXL, claiming it is a major point of difference. Local brand manager Frances Lynch said the prevalence of stainless steel appliances in kitchens means consumers are looking for matching appliances.

“In line with global trends, we wanted to give customers in Australia that extra design option,” Lynch said. “Cooking connoisseurs now have the choice of coordinating a Gaggenau oven with existing stainless steel appliances or fittings.”

“This design feature also allows us to cater for those who are new to Gaggenau and may feel more familiar and at home with stainless steel.”

The six new stainless steel models in the range are:
