At this year’s IFA, Hisense has confirmed the launch of an air conditioning range into the Australian market with six new models, both reverse cycle and cooling-only.
The range will be available at The Good Guys from November 2019 with RRPs starting from $799. All units will be accompanied with a five-year warranty.
Designed specifically for Australia and developed by Hisense’s local R&D team, the reverse cycle solutions will be provided for the cooler, southern regions and cooling-only models for the northern regions, engineered to withstand ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius without compromising performance.

By using 3D inverter technology, combined with an optimised inner air duct and tunnels, Hisense air conditioners gain a significant boost in energy efficiency. Models are also built with a Silver Ion Filter which traps air impurities and eliminates bacteria, as well as prevents mould build up. All units also feature Hisense’s Quiet Mode, Eco Mode and Smart Mode.
With omni-directional air flow, the oscillation of the climate control flaps can be adjusted automatically not only horizontally but also vertically. IFEEL technology moderates room temperature using a temperature sensor in the remote so the air conditioning system will adjust based on where the remote is located rather than the local temperature within the fixed indoor wall unit.
