Hisense rolled out its most energy efficient refrigerator to date – the black steel 453L bottom mount refrigerator with 5.5 stars for RRP $1,699.

The bottom mount refrigerator utilises vacuum insulation panel (VIP), coupled with an advanced inverter compressor motor to ensure minimal temperature fluctuation, quiet operation and energy efficiency.

Other features include a multi-function touch control panel, interior LED lighting and nine-interchangeable shelves. In addition, Multi Air Flow Cooling allows for even distribution of air and temperature consistency, while Holiday Power Saving Mode helps minimise energy costs.

Hisense Australia head of marketing, Andre Iannuzzi said the refrigerator responds to increasing concern around rising household energy bills and the impact on electricity use and the environment.

“The black steel 453L bottom mount refrigerator demonstrates the role innovation and clever engineering can play in helping all of us be more eco-friendly without compromising on the size, functionality and convenience of a product,” he said.
