First time in 14 years.
Harvey Norman has welcomed John Craven as an independent non-executive director. A former partner of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), he brings more than 40 years of experience in management consulting and information technology.
This is the first time in 14 years that Harvey Norman has appointed an independent non-executive director since Graham Paton joined the board.

Craven is chair of Specialisterne Australia, part of a not-for-profit organisation working to enable one million jobs for people on the autism spectrum, and a member of the global board based in Denmark. He is also a member of philanthropic investment organisation, Social Venture Partners Melbourne.
