SYDNEY, NSW: The consumer satisfaction survey compared six leading brands for price, the cost of ink cartridges, performance and reliability, features, and compatibility with non-original cartridges.

Notably, the cost of ink cartridges was a common complaint among the 2,500 consumers reviewed by Colmar Brunton for the Canstar Blue survey, where almost all the brands performed poorly – Samsung and Brother were the only two suppliers to manage a three out of five-star rating.

Consumers were overall very satisfied with the price of their printer (Brother and Canon tied with the highest rating) as well as features.

“The survey showed Canon was the clear winner in the eyes of its customers, coming out on top in the categories of overall satisfaction, performance and reliability, and features,” said Canstar Cannex’s head of research Steve Mickenbecker.
