Blanco has taken up the social media baton so ably carried by Hagemeyer brand-mate JVC, launching new Facebook and Twitter streams.

Under the banner ‘Blanco Moments’, both social networks have been created to help build a foodie community around the brand.

Blanco has been on a broad marketing campaign throughout 2011, with sponsorship of the Prahran markets in Melbourne and by being featured in signage advertising, along with other Hagemeyer brands, at Suncorp Stadium, home of the Brisbane Broncos and Queensland Maroons.

Blanco brand manager Jennelle Larven said this was a big step forward.

“As an organisation, we're very excited to launch Blanco Moments on Facebook,” she said. “It's a big step forward for our brand and we're looking forward to sharing our passion for cooking and food, offering some renovation tips on the page, as well as keeping users up to date with all the news about our new products.

“Our objective is to create a fun and vibrant community for our customers and consumers alike. There'll be something for everyone.”
