SYDNEY, NSW: Breville has today announced an expansion to its design team with the appointment of new two senior designers.
Andrew Grigor and Phil Rose will be part of Breville’s cooking and beverage design teams, and will “bring extensive experience in small kitchen appliances to their positions,” said a Breville spokesperson.
Grigor joins the team after 13 years in the industry, working with competitors including Sunbeam, LG electronics and Fisher & Paykel. He will take on the role of senior product designer, working on new innovation in beverage appliances according to the spokesperson.

Rose will assume the position of senior product designer in the cooking category, following seven years experience as a designer in small appliances and kitchen storage, working for Sunbeam and Click Clack.
Richard Hoare, Breville’s director of innovation and design, was positive about the experience that the two new recruits would bring.
“It has been an exciting year for Breville new product releases. We’re delighted to have a truly focused and very experienced team behind each category, working to bring other exciting innovations to the local and global market. Andrew and Phil’s experience with kitchen products will go a long way to understanding the Breville food thinker philosophy,” he said.
