SYDNEY, NSW: Permaseal Electrical Appliances (PEA), distributor for the Laurastar iron brand in Australia, has announced the appointment of a new National Sales Manager – Retail this week.
Blair Whitehead has taken on the position, bringing over 15 years experience in the retail industry to the role, including significant management experience in the appliance category at several well known companies.
Speaking about the appointment was Dino Scaramuzzo, general manager of PEA Pty Ltd.

“Blair has a wealth of experience within the electrical appliance industry, having worked with a number of key brands within the appliance industry over the last 15 years,” said Scaramuzzo. “Having worked in both Sydney and Melbourne he has gained valuable experience and contacts in these important markets.
“We welcome Blair to Laurastar and look forward to working with him in his efforts to launch Laurastar into key retail accounts Australi wide.”
Whitehead has worked as national brand manager at Andi-Co Appliances, national channel manager at Sharp Australia and Mistral International, and has additional experience with Asko Appliances and De’Longhi distribution.
He joins the company after his most recent role as managing director of the sales and advertising consultancy MBW Enterprises.
