3D TV owners are set to receive more A-Grade sport, with Fox Sports, the undisputed leader in 3D content, announcing today that the major matches 2011 US Open will be shown in 3D.
Fox Sports 3D (Channel 201) will show six days of action in 3D, starting on Sunday 4 September 2011 with action from Day 6. Days 7 and 8 will also be shown in 3D, before a short break before coverage of Men’s Doubles Final and both Men’s and Ladies’ Semifinals and Finals.
To watch the US Open in 3D, users need a compatible 3D TV, a subscription to the Fox Sports package and an HD decoder.
