SYDNEY, NSW: Sharp has announced the new staples in its Aquos Quattron 3D range with the launch of the LE830X television series. And as an added bonus to users hungry for the Smart TV experience, the televisions will come bundled with a Boxee DSM830 unit that allows an internet connection for accessing movies, TV shows, social networking and apps online.
The new televisions are set to rival other Smart TVs in the flat panel category, with features such as wireless capability and USB Timeshift that allows users to pause, record and replay live television. The bonus inclusion of the Boxee (RRP $299) is sure to appeal to users looking for increased connectivity.

“Families are always looking for things they can enjoy together and this LE830X series delivers,” said Mark Beard, National Marketing Manager of Sharp Corporation Australia. “It combines all the AV needs of the home so there’s something for every member of the family to enjoy.”
LED backlight technology combines with the high speed response LCD and 200 Aquomotion backlight scanning system to create a clearer, brighter picture with reduced motion blur and crosstalk. The televisions also feature Frame Rate Enhanced Driving technology that offers “an unprecedented 3D experience” when used with Sharp 3D glasses.
“By creating a home network, families can also purchase optional accessories such as a Wi-Fi dongle to wirelessly access media content on the network. Other features such as IP control are also available in this series.”
The LE830X series features four different sized televisions – 40 inch (RRP $1,799), 46 inch (RRP $2,199), 52 inch (RRP $2,799) and 60 inch (RRP $3,999).
