Sunbeam is set to capitalise on its partnership with the lucrative MasterChef brand, with the company today announcing two MasterChef-themed consumer promotions for the busy Christmas retail period.
Customers who purchase a Sunbeam appliance between 15 October and 24 December 2011 will have the opportunity to win a tour of the famous MasterChef set in Sydney and see the show being filmed. The winner will get a behind-the-scenes look at the program – complete with a walk-through in the show’s pantry – with three friends, as well as flights, transfers and three nights accommodation.
In conjunction with this competition, Sunbeam will also be running a promotion giving consumers the opportunity to get a free subscription to MasterChef Magazine. Customers will be eligible for a six-month subscription with the purchase of selected Sunbeam products (by redeeming a promotional code online).

Speaking about the MasterChef kitchen tour competition, Sunbeam marketing manager Nicole Cowley said it was a great opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with their favourite TV show.
“Millions of Australians enjoy watching MasterChef, yet only a select few get the privilege of actually experiencing the journey,” said Cowley. “Sunbeam’s ongoing partnership with Australia’s leading reality cooking series, MasterChef, means we can offer our valued customers a money-can’t-buy experience this Christmas.”
The promotion will be supported at the retail level with point of sale material and signage.
