Epson has added to its printer line-up with the TM-T88V11, said to the be fastest POS receipt printer in the industry, it offers flexible connectivity between multiple devices.
Epson Australia managing director Craig Heckenberg described the TM-T88 series as “the workhorse of Epson’s receipt printer line, now in its seventh generation”.
The new model delivers fast print speeds up to 500 mm/sec and a high-speed auto cutter, as well as a long printhead and auto cutter life with a four-year warranty.
It can be shared with fixed PC-POS terminals as well as mobile devices and cloud servers simultaneously. The vertical mounting kit connects the printer to most systems with built-in Ethernet and USB, including Serial, Parallel, Powered USB and Wi-Fi.
The setup process has been streamlined with an improved Epsom TM Utility app available on both PC and mobile devices that includes a new tool for easy configuration and deployment of new printers. The app enables integrators to seamlessly upgrade from prior T88 models to the TM-T88VII without losing pre-configured settings and disrupting existing workflows.
