Electrolux will launch a new range of induction and gas cooktops in April 2022.

“Electrolux has been creating better living for over 100 years through strong innovation and superior design. The new cooking range continues to deliver on this commitment with further ground-breaking innovation allowing Australians to make outstanding experiences with great tasting food,” Electrolux Australia product director – taste, Hass Mahdi said.

The flagship Electrolux 90cm UltimateTaste 900 Hybrid Induction with Gas Burner Cooktop (EHH957BE) is a four-zone hybrid induction with 24MJ/h DualFlame gas wok burner, SenseFry, Bridge zone, PowerBoost and Hob2Hood capability for RRP $5,799.

SenseFry measures heat levels and makes automatic adjustments to maintain the ideal temperature for even cooking results. The Bridge function combines two separate cooking zones to create a single large surface with the temperature and time settings automatically aligned.

The PowerBoost function delivers an intense heat boost when needed, before automatically dropping to the highest power level. Perfect for pan searing fish, stir-frying vegetables, or bringing water to the boil quickly. When paired with a compatible Electrolux extractor hood, the Hob2Hood automatically switches the hood on as cooking starts and adjusts the fan speed accordingly.

The Electrolux 90cm UltimateTaste 700 7 Zone FlexiBridge Induction Cooktop (EHI977BE) features SenseFry, FlexiBridge, MaxiZone, PowerSlide, PowerBoost and Hob2Hood capability for RRP $3,299.

For those preparing many dishes at the same time or cooking a large dish for a dinner party, FlexiBridge combines cooking areas, while the PowerSlide function allows pots to be moved between three pre-set temperature zones to easily control cooking levels.

Sensitive touch controls can change cooking power from simmering to boiling in almost an instant. For example, pan-sear steak with intense heat, and then instantly drop the temperature down to maintain its medium-rare texture.

Rounding out the induction cooktop line-up is the Electrolux 60cm UltimateTaste 700 3 Zone Induction Cooktop (EHI635BE) with SenseFry, MaxiZone, Bridge zone, and Hob2Hood capability for RRP $1,749.

Leading the gas cooktop options is the new Electrolux 90cm UltimateTaste 900 5 Burner Gas Cooktop (EHG955BE) – a five-burner black ceramic glass gas cooktop with 24MJ/hr wok burner, dual flame control and cast-iron trivets for RRP $2,499.

With DualFlame, both the inner and outer burner flames can be adjusted – the inner ring is ideal for gentle heating and simmering, while the outer ring is designed for intense stir frying.

The flat ceramic glass surface is extremely durable and makes it easier to clean.Sturdy cast iron supports ensure pots and pans are stable while cooking and ergonomically designed knobs with built-in electronic ignition means burners are lit in one step. The flame failure safety device automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out during cooking.

The other model in the gas cooktop range is the Electrolux 60cm UltimateTaste 900 3 Burner Gas Cooktop (EHG635BE) – a three-burner black ceramic glass gas cooktop with 24MJ/hr wok burner, dual flame control and cast-iron trivets for RRP $1,749.
