Superstitious types that are wondering why Queensland is so dominant in State of Origin can now blame Fujifilm, with local MD Dave Marshall this week taking the podium for the sixth time to present the Shield — and for the sixth time, he handed it to a Queenslander.

“The champion five-eighth led the Maroon’s for the 36th and final time to a 34-24 victory: a fitting win and great finale to a brilliant career.”

For those that like to abandon reasons, such as more talented players, better coaching and superior teamwork, Marshall has some bad news. Fujifilm, along with Harvey Norman, will be back next year.
