SYDNEY, NSW: Fisher & Paykel has launched a new television advertisement in a bid to promote its range of kitchen and cooking appliances, including the CookSpace oven, CoolDrawer, DishDrawer Tall and Ice & Water French Door refrigerator. The advertisement also features the upcoming Gas on Glass cooktop.

The television commercial is the second in F&P’s recent TV campaign, the first of which featured a hand-knitted rabbit getting into strife before being washed in the company’s FabricSmart washing machine.

According to F&P general manager Peter Russell, both commercials are centred around the way families and individuals interact with appliances on a daily basis.

“The themes of our TVCs are love and joy,” said Russell. “Fisher & Paykel is Australia’s most trusted brand in appliances, and our aim is to build on that faith. In other words, you can trust us with your precious toys or clothing. You can trust us to help you prepare sumptuous meals. You can trust us to make your life just that little bit better because we know how important spending time with family and friends is.

“With all the fantastic appliances showcased in the kitchen TVC, there’s a little bit of envy in there too, who wouldn’t want a stunning kitchen like that!”

As Australians gear up for warmer weather, F&P’s advertising campaign was created with a focus on the “social kitchen”, showcasing cooking products “whilst simultaneously building an evocative story around them”.

“We sought to capture that joyful essence of sharing meals with friends in the Australian summer that everyone relates to and I think we’ve achieved that,” said Russell.

The advertisements, which are running on pay TV and free-to-air channels are also supported by a print campaign that will be visible across a broad range of national food and home living titles according to the company.
