Optus, the exclusive launch carrier of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch 9860, has today revealed the pricing and availability of these two handsets.

Both will be available to consumers and business customers on 1 September 2011, with the new Bold model – which is already being used by footballers Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie – slightly more expensive than the new all-touch Torch model.

The Bold 9900 is available on a number of consumer plans, with total minimum spends over 24 months ranging from $874 ($19 per month on the $19 cap plan) to $2,838 ($0 upfront on the $129 Timeless Extreme plan).

For business consumers, the Bold 9900 is available on both Business Complete Plans and Business Timeless Plans. All are $0 upfront, with monthly payments ranging from $79 to $129.

There are seven consumer launch plans for Torch 9860, with Optus highlighting the $0 upfront on a $79 per month Timeless Plan for special mention (total minimum spend is $1,176).

There are six business plans for prospective Torch 9860 buyers: all are $0 upfront, with monthly repayments ranging from $49 to $129.
