Former LG Australia general manager of sales, Michael Doyle (pictured), has moved over to competitor Electrolux Australia to fill the position of director of sales, after it was left vacant when Mike Putt took the reins as managing director earlier this year. Doyle’s new role is effective January 4 2016.
Commenting on the move, Mike Putt said, “Following on from the Westinghouse built-in cooking appliances launch earlier this year, Electrolux has a number of upcoming product launches across the whole range of our product categories and leading brands.
“Michael will lead the EHP sales team as it brings these exciting new appliances to market with the help of our key customers.”
Putt held the position of director of sales until he was put in the role of acting managing director in 2014. He held both titles – director of sales and acting managing director throughout 2014, until earlier this year when he was appointed managing director.
