Dimplex Australia has renewed its partnership with The Melbourne Stars as co-coaches partner across both BBL and WBBL for the next two years.

Dimplex will also be involved in a range of digital fan engagement initiatives, including the introduction of a post-match coaches report featuring David Hussey and Trent Woodhill. The series will provide fans with greater insights and access to the inner sanctum of the Melbourne Stars at the completion of each match this summer.

Dimplex CEO, David Woodward said the renewed collaboration was an opportunity to increase awareness of the Dimplex brand across Australia.

“Joining forces with The Melbourne Stars was an easy decision for us given the perfect fit with the family fan base that the team enjoys. Our Dimplex range of heating and cooling products provides comfort all year round at home and is enjoyed by the whole household, just as the WBBL and BBL is enjoyed by the whole family.”

Melbourne Stars general manager, Nick Cummins said he was pleased to have Dimplex on board for the season.

“It’s fantastic to have support like this from our partners going into a season with some uncertainty,” he said. “With our senior coaching staff in David Hussey (BBL) and Trent Woodhill (WBBL), Dimplex will be in an excellent position to connect with our fans and in ways they never have before, through digital and virtual opportunities.”
