SYDNEY: Electrolux Home Products today announced the release of its next generation Gallery cooking collection and also confirmed the departure of three key sales staff, who have been offered redundancies.

Electrolux has announced 25 new Gallery Collection products, which feature premium design and technology, will be released in April.

In a short second announcement, a spokesperson for Electrolux Home Products managing director, Trevor Carroll, confirmed the departure of three sales staff, who have remained unnamed at this stage.

“Trevor [Carroll] has confirmed the recent departure of three New South Wales people from the field sales force. Director of sales, David Petrie, is leading the company’s continuing moves to improve ways to service retailers,” the spokesperson said.

The Electrolux Gallery Collection, which is expected to be endorsed by Australia’s best chef, Tetsuya Wakuda, is manufactured using high quality components and materials and incorporates design from the company’s European design studio in Germany, Italy and Switzerland.

The 25 Gallery Collection products include ovens; ceramic, gas and induction cooktops; canopy, retractable and universal rangehoods; dishwashers; a microwave and an espresso machine.

“As with all Electrolux products, this new generation of cutting edge appliances are designed with the consumer in mind," said Electrolux group marketing director, Nicholas Gibson.

“Our observational research into the use of our products, in both the domestic and professional kitchen environment, enable us to continually evolve and develop our products, always with the user at the heart of any new innovation or design.”
