The De’Longhi Maestosa was first unveiled at IFA 2018 as the company’s most premium coffee machine and was then released to the Australian market in Q3 this year with a price tag of $4,999.

Exclusive to select Harvey Norman stores, the Maestosa is inspired by Italian design and passion with a streamlined shape, stainless steel ribbed body and sleek black glass front. Features include adaptive grinding technology, allowing beans to express their full potential and personalistion which remembers what coffee each user likes.

De’Longhi carefully selected people with a long-standing expertise and special talent in product development. Out of the 800 employees working at the Treviso head office, the company selected a team of just 20 to be the Maestosa ‘creators’.

With the purchase of Maestosa, customers will receive an in-home machine set-up, two-hour barista demonstration and a complementary coffee hamper, valued at $500.

De’Longhi marketing director, Caroline Bonpain said as one of the most expensive domestic coffee machine in the Australian market, the machine aims to deliver growth and value for the entire category.

“The fully automatic segment is growing (up 13% from previous year) and De’Longhi is market leader with 70% market share. De’Longhi is captialising on this desire for quality and customisation through the fully automatic segment,” she said.
