Following the promotion of Intel’s former face of public relations, Anna Torres, to the position of ANZ marketing manager, Intel has today announced the appointment of Stephanie Ryan as the company’s new public relations manager for Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.
“Stephanie brings to the role solid PR and communications experience, and a strong understanding of the technology industry,” said Torres.
“She is already familiar with Intel’s brand and communications strategy, having previously worked on the Intel PR team at Spectrum Communications. Stephanie’s existing understanding of Intel combined with her knowledge of the IT industry make her well suited to this role.”

In the new role, Ryan will be responsible for communications across the Australian and New Zealand Intel subsidiaries and for “driving awareness” of Intel’s Ultrabook devices as well as its 3rd generation Intel Core processor product line-up.
Ryan has previously worked in media relations and internal communications for the medical technology company Medtronic, following a year working for the UNICEF-funded NGO the Centre of Injury Prevention and Research (CIPRB) in Bangladesh.
“I’m thrilled to be moving into this role at a time when personal computing is undergoing such a significant transformation,” said Ryan. “This year has seen a number of advancements from Intel including the launch of 3rd Generation Intel Core processors and the continued evolution of the Ultrabook. I’m looking forward to sharing the company’s future direction.”
