The Cygnett MagMove 5K power bank has caught fire and caused serious injuries and property damage on multiple occasions since its initial recall in March 2024.
Impacted SKUs of the dual magnet power bank for wireless phone charging include the CY4565PBCHE, CY4631PBCHE, CY4615PBCHE, CY4620PBCHE and CY4626PBCHE.
Consumers are urged to stop using affected power banks immediately and return power banks to the place of purchase for a full refund.
The power banks were sold between 7 September 2023 and 15 March 2024 from various retailers including Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Leading Edge, Myer, Officeworks, Retravision and The Good Guys, as well as telcos including Optus and Telstra.
