Fisher & Paykel has announced a refresh of its single door dishwasher range, with upgrades to the aesthetics and features that will bring the appliances in line with the brand’s DishDrawer design.

“The upgrades to our current range of single door dishwashers further enhance an already impressive line-up,” said Fisher & Paykel’s general manager of marketing, Peter Russell.

“The DishDrawer served as inspiration for the updated design, while more fundamental upgrades like innovative drawer handles, a utensil tray and the adjustable top rack make our single door dishwashers much more practical and adaptable to individual needs.

“Additionally, increased capacity and better water efficiency will help consumers get more from each wash, and we’re delighted to offer these thoughtful additions to our customers at no extra cost,” he said.

The DW60CC and DW60CE models will also feature new “smart handles” to make it easier to pull out drawers, as well as adjustable upper racks and an increased capacity of 14 place settings (up from the previous capacities of 12 place settings).

The DW60CC models – available in white or stainless steel – will now feature a 4.5 star WELS rating, up from 4 stars, and will offer a new LCD screen, 8 wash programs (including a half-load program) and fan-assisted drying.

The DW60CE models – also available in white or stainless steel finishes – will offer a boosted WELS rating of 4 stars (up from 3 stars), as well as an LED display, 6 wash programs and a delayed start option.
