Crockpot has been rated the best slow cooker brand in the latest Canstar Blue ratings with five-star reviews in all categories. It was also the only brand out of eight to receive top accolades.

Canstar Blue surveyed over 1,000 consumers who purchased a slow cooker in the last three years to rate them on overall satisfaction as well as cooking performance, ease of use, value for money, ease of cleaning, features and design.

“As a brand that had its origins in slow cooking 50 years ago, we are delighted to hear that Crockpot has received this consumer recognition – a testament to the quality, innovation and strength of this well-loved brand,” Newell Brands senior manager brand marketing – home appliances, Elena Pintado told Appliance Retailer.

Russell Hobbs and Sunbeam also performed well in the ratings, each receiving four stars for every category.

Canstar Blue’s survey shows that the average amount spent on a new slow cooker is $84 and four in 10 (41%) of slow cooker owners use the kitchen appliance at least once a week.
