Samsung will be introducing developments in AI performance and product capability across its range of existing SmartThings devices, as well as bringing new products into the market in 2025.

Samsung’s 7000 series 30-inch oven includes a handleless design and Smart Forward program. AI Home can connect ovens to all other SmartThings appliances, while AI pro cooking offers 80 ready-to-go recipes that appear on the in-built screen. Intelligence scans the meal inside the oven to recommend cooking settings for optimal results. The customisable cooking feature allows you to add other regularly used recipes to the in-built database. Previous generation ovens can also be upgraded with the new Smart Forward program.

Samsung AI washer and Dryer and 7000 Series 30 inch oven

The Samsung AI washer and dryers are powered by intelligence technology with a seven-inch LCD touch display and connection to other SmartThings devices. The Flex Auto Dispense System automatically releases detergent and softener to suit pre-selected settings. In-built AI tracks regular and seasonal cycle choices to tailor washing and drying settings, and the machines feature voice activation using Samsung Bixby. AI can sense fabric types to recommend the best washing settings, and scan for moisture levels to determine the ideal drying temperature.

Samsung’s first EHS Heat Pump Air to Water Heating System consists of two main components. The EHS ClimateHub includes a seven-inch LCD touch display to connect with other SmartThings devices, and an AI energy mode to monitor and reduce energy usage, made to a standard cabinet depth to allow it to integrate with other appliances and cabinets. The EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet features a four-step quiet mode to reduce sound levels to 35db, while supplying extremely hot water up to 70 degrees Celsius. It provides 100% heating performance even in extreme temperatures.

Samsung’s new hybrid-cooling fridges draw power from a compressor and Pel-tier module to cool the refrigerator. AI analyses individual behavioural patterns to determine when to increase and decrease cooling for optimal power usage. The refrigerators are built to sit flush with countertops and cupboards, with monitors for energy efficiency. They will not be released in Australia this year.
