LG Electronics has introduced its updated 2025 OLED evo TV range, featuring premium light control technology, AI-enhanced sound and display processing, and an AI-supported user experience web OS interface.

The latest OLED evo TV series includes the world’s first wireless OLED evo M5 and OLED evo G5 models. Using the improved LG a (Alpha) 11 AI processor Gen 2, each TV provides enhanced picture quality and processing capabilities.

Featuring upgraded LG Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, the newest OLED evo TVs draw on light control architecture and light-boosting algorithms to generate brightness three times higher than conventional OLED models. The advanced displays have been awarded UL Solutions “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Colour” verifications, as well as 100% colour fidelity certification by Intertek. The improved colour temperature stabilisation features earned the 2025 OLED evo TVs “Quick Stability with Image Quality” certification from TÜV Rheinland.

Enhanced capabilities include LG Filmmaker Mode, which analyses the filmmaker’s intent to adjust lighting conditions and picture settings. The Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2 breaks down low-resolution and low-quality images, enabling AI to improve colours and sounds with pixel-level precision. Professional creators can customise images for colour enhancement using the Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional, which allows for control over HDR10 content.

The new range of LG OLED evo TVs keep gamers in mind, with the industry’s first 4K 165Hz Variable Refresh Rate, allowing for stutter-free gameplay and minimal lag. With quality up to 165 frames per second, the program received certification from NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. The OLED evo TVs are also the first to receive ClearMR 10000 certification by VESA.

Further AI enhancements include refined sound quality with AI Sound Pro. By analysing more than 1.6 billion image settings and 40 million sound profiles, the deep learning algorithm tailors the audio and visual experience to each user.

Each LG OLED evo TV can be controlled using an AI remote. AI Welcome greets every user by name, while AI voice ID automatically switches profiles through voice recognition software.

The user-focused webOS interface allows for multi-platform integration, connecting ThinQ and Google Home for easy access to several devices. WebOS also offers a perosnalised home screen with upgraded UI and categories.

LG will also be releasing the first OLED TV able to wirelessly transfer audio and video. The M5 series transmits at up to 144Hz without compromising on picture or sound quality, and has been certified by NVIDIA G-SYNC. LG has extended this wireless technology to QNED TVs for performance improvement across multiple models.
