Hisense will be releasing a range of AI-powered upgrades as part of its 2025 product lineup, building on years of intelligence development.

Hisense Australia and New Zealand national training manager, Chris Mayer said, “Hisense has been using AI in our chipsets for a really long time. It’s not a novelty or a gimmick, it’s an evolved, fast and efficient tool. The new AI products are an evolution of what we’ve already been doing.

“We’re not just using AI because other brands are, we’re using AI because Hisense wants to challenge itself to take things further and make our products work harder.”

AI-powered TV support includes live AI generated subtitles in the language of the user’s choice, and automatic image upscaling with increased colour depth.

Hisense will also introduce new accessibility features, such as the ability to connect a hearing aid or headphones to a TV while simultaneously using TV audio, with different volume controls for each set. In 2025, Hisense will adopt an improved Bluetooth system for 30% better audio clarity when connecting hearing aids to a TV. For visually impaired people, AI-powered video description provides real-time scene narration, and will be featured on the entire ULED range.

Hisense has expanded on two proprietary operating systems – VIDAA and ConnectLife. The VIDAA system, available in-house, now includes VIDAA Kids Mode to restrict viewing to family-friendly content when browsing on a kids TV profile. VIDAA will also generate a recommended watchlist using AI, tailored to each member profile.

ConnectLife Solution ranges across the entire Hisense ecosystem including Asko and Gorenje. Using AI, it works to connect Hisense devices around the home.

Dish Designer uses AI to design a recipe based on ingredients already in the house, or adapt a recipe to remove unwanted ingredients, and is available through the ConnectLife app. Improvements to the ConnectLife software are compatible with existing Hisense home appliance products, such as supported fridges and washing machines, and can be automatically downloaded.

“As we expand our portfolio, ConnectLife will get stronger,” Mayer added.
